Bite Hard – Franz Ferdinand

March 28, 2009 · 4 Comments

I only got hold of the new Franz Ferdinand CD a week ago, and so sorry to all of you who think this is boring, old stuff. My initial impressions make this out to be a solid album, but probably a bit too poppy for my liking. It’s always been fun, but the new album is incredibly fun. Anyway, I’ll stop complaining, this isn’t a review, just a thought.

My favourite song so far is Bite Hard. It’s ridiculously simple; A soft, piano intro stomped down by hard hitting drums and an amazingly cool synth line.  Easily at home playing to thousands of moshing fans.

Bite Hard

Is it me or do Franz Ferdinand create the sexiest music now days?

dude I swear I emailed you the album AGES ago!
I love Bite Hard. damn good song. my favourite was and still is No You Girls, which later became the second single

and yes, they do make the sexiest music nowadays. by a mile. I got, like, 7 people to buy 45 dollar tickets to see them with me just by giving them the new album via flash drive. it;s that good.

It’s by far one of their best songs (and albums), but still my favorite song is Lucid Dreams, the 7 minute album version. The cut down single version wasn’t that good.

Hope these guys are playing Oxegen this year, I’d love to see them again.

YES. They do make the create the sexiest music nowadays.

I loved Bite Hard before the album came out. I remember seeing them perform it live a few times. It’s a great song.

Twilight Omens is pretty great too.
