I’ve started revising for GCSEs, so I thought I would share my playlist and CDs for those trying to accomplish the same thing, studying for something else or just trying to zone out. I can’t listen to normal music while studying, I will always break concentration and focus on the song, so I have a weird taste when it comes to revising.

Street Horrrsing – Fuck Buttons
My favourite album, for this kind of stuff. It’s repetitive, noisy and very displeasing at times, but somehow extremely beautiful.

the book about my idle plot on a vague anxiety – Toe
Fantastically intertwined guitar and bass patterns create wonderful pieces of music. Just lay back and relax. And the drummer is meant to be pretty good too.
Lost Horizons – Lemon Jelly
Some gorgeous British chill out. It’s really fun, quirky and different. These guys have a good sense of humour as well as making some really great electronic music.
And here is a playlist to enjoy.
Sweet Love For Planet Earth / Fuck Buttons
Brother Sport / Animal Collective
Atlas / Battles
Road To Zion (featuring Nas) / Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley
Midnight In A Perfect World / DJ Shadow
Olympic Airwaves / Foals
Sea Within A Sea / The Horrors
The Staunton Lick / Lemon Jelly
Hoppipolla / Sigur Rós
Gamera / Tortoise
Update: The playlist is zipped!
